Ms. Kyle really showed off her writing talents with this latest Preor story. Both Ivoth and Elle feel their mutual attraction but because The Knowing doesn't present itself they know their attraction is a dead end. After all, Ivoth has his honorable pledge to his dead sire to keep and Elle has her family's honor to uphold. What evolves is a beautiful and frustrating story of seemingly insurmountable odds to a total commitment that the Preor culture provides to its people.
I love the dragons of Prior they are everything you look for in a hero They are strong braves and would die for there mates.This last one of Celia Kyle has a plot that has lots of twists and turns.lots of action.The heroin is a woman who has been bought up to be strong and never show emotion but is soft and vulnerable inside she has a pet who saved her life and all Prior males want to kill on site I loved her pet I hope Celia brings more in her Prior books This book is a great book well worth reading I was sad when I finished reading it not because it had an unhappy ending but because it was finished
It's always a fun and priveleged time when an new Preor book hits the virtual shelves! I looooooooove this series. So much depth and angst interspersed with humour for the poor Preor who have to cope with human idioms and witticisms and snarky sarcasm. But I for one am so thrilled about a love story that doesn't rely on only the knowing to have our wonderful preor males finding love!! The idea of them actually finding LOVE without the knowing is so wonderully addictive!!!
This whole series is a grrrrrrrrrrrreat read!!!
Ivoth the Preor dragon shifter male is intense. His one desire, to fulfill a vow to his sire to mate and have dragonlets. Being the last of his line, he must have dragonlets or his line will die out when Ivoth dies. But oh my, Ivoth is so attracted to a human woman who needs his protection. Only they do not share the Knowing, a must if he is to have dragonlets. This book is about a battle for survival, the woman he wants who is in peril, and Ivoth's future. Great characters and storyline. And the icing on the cake is a secondary charcter named Charlie. I loved, loved, loved him!
I love most of the books. The one was okay😊. The leads frustrated me, or it is either the premise of them not experiencing the Knowing when that is the basis of story line about these people. 😧 The female lead was very frustrating. I did not really like her. She came across to difficult in relationship to their relationship. He was sweet and nieve to Earth women. He only wanted to protect, and she just went all ape-$#** because he was coming across a little caveman. That is their whole nature. Cut them so slack.
Loved Ivoth and Elle!
Elle Davenport left her families Bio Med Company and joined it's rival Cole Pharma, Headed by Delaney joi Zadri Cole, loving her humanitarian vision. Her father and brother, very unhappy with her decision.
Ivoth is the Quint leader if Delaney's guard, and is strongly drawn to Elle, though she is not his mate.
When Elle's father threatens her life Ivoth volunteers his Quint for her protection. The more time Elle and Ivoth spend together the stronger their attraction becomes. His promise to his father won't allow him to take Elle as his mate. You can't choose who you fall in love with. Ivoth breaks her heart. When Elle is attack again and almost loses her life, Ivoth has to decide on following his heart or keeping his promise.
A fast paced, emotional story, with sweet and steamy happy ending. Can't wait for the nest book!
